Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information Cavalier Ventures LLC ("Cavalier", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers cavalier-ventures.com and the services we deliver under a written agreement.
1. Who we are
Cavalier Ventures LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, with a mailing address at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. For anything in this policy, write to [email protected].
2. What this website collects
This website is a single static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and builds no advertising or tracking profile. There is no form on it. The only way to contact us from the page is an email link.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs that may include your IP address, browser type, and the time of your request. Those logs exist to keep the site available and secure, and they are retained under that provider's own schedule.
The background video, fonts, and stylesheet on the page are served from our own domain and from Google Fonts, OnlineWebFonts, and our hosting provider. Requesting a file from a third party exposes your IP address to that party under its own privacy terms.
3. What we collect when you contact us
- Correspondence. Your name, email address, and whatever you choose to put in your message.
- Client and prospect records. Business contact details, the scope we discussed, and notes on the engagement.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly. We receive the billing name, email, country, the amount, and the last four digits of the card. We never see or store a full card number.
- Material you give us for a project. Files, data, and system access provided so we can do the work.
4. Why we process it
- To answer you and to scope, price, and deliver work.
- To invoice, take payment, and keep tax and accounting records.
- To keep our systems and yours secure.
- To meet legal obligations.
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in running and securing the business, and legal obligation. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising.
5. Project data
Data you hand us for an engagement stays yours. We process it only to deliver what the agreement describes. We do not use client data to train models for our own purposes or for any other client, and we do not submit client data to a third party model provider unless the agreement for that engagement says so and names the provider.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to support our operations, and only for that purpose. Those are Stripe, which processes our payments, and the providers who host this website, deliver our email, and keep our accounts. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. Write to us if you want the current list by name.
7. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where personal information moves out of the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on the transfer mechanisms our providers put in place, such as the standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep it
Correspondence that does not lead to an engagement is kept for up to two years. Client records, contracts, and invoices are kept for seven years to satisfy tax and accounting rules. Project data is deleted or returned on request once the engagement ends, subject to any retention period set out in the agreement.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, or withdraw consent. If you are a California resident, you may also request details of the categories of information we collected and ask us not to sell or share it, which we do not do in any case.
Write to [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. If you are in the UK or EEA and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
10. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Our services are sold to businesses. They are not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting existing clients will be sent by email.
